EVIDENCE-BASED EDUCATIONAL INFORMATION

Why menopause care matters?

When symptoms impact sleep, mood, concentration, sexual health, weight, and work, women need more than a quick reassurance that this is “normal”.
You need clinicians who understand menopause, you need enough time to be heard, and access to coordinated support when nutrition or psychotherapy is part of the care plan.

Did You Know
Menopause is a universal life stage impacting half the population, yet many people reach it without adequate preparation.

Average age of onset is 51, with most women experiencing menopause between ages 45 and 55.

Around 80% of women experience vasomotor symptoms, which can last 7 to 11 years on average.

Genitourinary Syndrome of Menopause affects 45-75% of women, with symptoms that may intensify and continue without treatment.

Experiences of menopause can vary across different sociocultural groups
